The objective
adidas was launching their new top of the line golf shoe, the Tour
360, with the distinction that it wasn't just a shoe. The idea
was to shift perception that adidas golf shoes are equipment,
like a golfer's clubs and ball.
The result
Treating the shoe (aka equipment) as an object of desire,
the following 2 executions played up the "wow-factor",
revolutionary new features and aggressive style consistent with
the introduction of any golf equipment.
