The objective
PayPal wanted to launch a "trust & safety" awareness campaign
targeting online shoppers. The campaign is meant to educate everyone
about the safety of paying with PayPal, which keeps users' financial
information hidden from online merchants.
The result
This campaign was run alongside other holiday campaigns to reassure
buyers that paying with PayPal was the safer alternative when
shopping online. A brand study which was done to measure the
impact of this campaign found significant lifts in awareness,
brand favorability and usage intent among holiday shoppers.
